WELCOME to yogitoes... I launched the company in 2003, with only one trademarked product at that time... SKIDLESS®... a towel that goes on top of a yoga mat to prevent the practitioner from slipping. I came up with the idea after personally slipping on my mat during practice. upon completing the prototype , I had an AHAH moment, that SKIDLESS could be useful in several markets. so I decided to apply  for a patent...  FIVE years and THREE world patents later... we have a full line of yoga and fitness products, which all came out of my own need for support in my practice. People often ask how I chose our original signature colors BLUE and ORANGE... I actually went by what the colors represent: BLUE is the fifth chakra (throat)- representing FREEDOM of EXPRESSION, and ORANGE - the second chakra (sacrum)- representing CREATIVITY and SEXUALITY. how our ORANGE DOT came to be was a DIVINE moment.. originally I created a dot at the top of my SKIDLESS to serve as a drishti (focus point). one morning I was practicing on my prototype, and a yogi walked by and said 'COOL logo' and I thought ... OK this will be the logo! another question commonly asked is how I came up with the company name yogitoes? another DIVINE moment on my mat... I was in navasana (boat pose) when my teacher, Chuck Miller walked by. Being his joyous self he said "Susan HAPPY TOES, spread your toes!" and I thought, "YOGITOES!" yogitoes is a "community" company, by word of mouth only. We are committed to supporting mother earth, as well as, bringing love and awareness to children around our planet. Our company was created and has evolved within the new paradigm. as WE unfold, yogitoes unfolds ... a process that has been an extraordinary journey to ORGANICALLY flow from the age of aquarian with unity consciousness. from bright light, with fierce love in this life and beyond...
