yogitoes® is proud to announce PRISM, our first 50% recycled SKIDLESS®!

our new yogitoes® PRISM SKIDLESS® is made form 50% recycled polyester, 40% new polyester, and 10% nylon fibers (this is the highest percentage of recycled content we could use without losing the integrity of the microfiber weave). this recycled fiber originates as plastic bottles that have been collected and sterilized. the plastic is then refined and spun into the recycled yarn used in our SKIDLESS® microfiber.

at yogitoes, we do our best to align our heart and mind, with our thoughts, words and actions - practicing yoga "union" on and off the mat by making decisions in all aspects of our business as close as we can to the yogic principles (referring to The Eight Limbs of Yoga from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras). our efforts are as follows:

we manufacture all of our SKIDLESS® in South Korea, where the manufacturing facilities we work with, along with their subcontractors, meet Global Compliance Standards in regard to safety, minimum age requirements, working conditions, fair wages, etc. the dyes we use are heavy metal, AZO and lead free, and our silicone dots are eco-friendly.

each rUNIVERSE yoga bag is made from 11 recycled plastic bottles and helps support 5gyres.org (conducting research on our marine plastic pollution problem and developing strategies to eliminate it).

we use recycled cardboard cartons and/or plastic envelopes to ship our product.

we use recycled paper in our packaging (and for supplies in the office).

through our "giving back 1%" campaign we donate 1% of our annual sales to causes that we support.
